KRISTA THOMSON
Originally from New Zealand, Krista started singing on stage at the age of 5. By 8 years old she was a regular on the competitive country music scene. She has won numerous awards around Australasia including the Golden Guitars in New Zealand and The Aristocrat Entertainer of the Year in Tamworth, Australia. Krista went on to study at The National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art where she gained her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theatre. Since graduating her theatre credits have included: Oliver!, Beauty and the Beast, Cats, The Frog Prince, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Melbourne's production of Doubt: A Parable where she played the role of Sister James.
Krista has had over 2 decades of experience performing at events and weddings and as one of the creators of ‘The Cover Girls’ is proud to be part of this top quality and highly entertaining group.
KAY ROGERS
Kay discovered a passion for singing, dancing and acting at an early age and has been on stage ever since. After graduating with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art, her career has allowed her to perform across the globe. Kay has performed extensively as Lead Vocalist with P&O and Princess Cruises in various on-board musicals, and moved to Spain to feature as Sophie in the musical Mama Mia and Meat in We Will Rock You. When Kay isn't working for The Walt Disney Company, she is running the business end of things right here and performing with this fabulous trio.
MICHELLE HUNT
Michelle is thrilled to joining The Cover Girls to share her passion of song, dance and performance. She has been performing for the past 17 years, and has taught singing and dancing the past 10. Michelle was born and raised in America where she had the privilege to perform at the 2002 Winter Olympics, for Formula 1 Racing, a variety of conventions, and Entertainment Theme Parks. After gaining her Dance Education degree in 2007, she left America to perform on Holland America Cruise Lines with Stilletto Entertainment where she sang and danced with Dancing with the Stars at Sea.
Since moving to Australia, Michelle has had performing opportunities at Crown, with Krazy Bar Entertainment, CLOC Musical Theatre, and Voltaire Entertainment. She is excited to bring her flare and spark to the CG Team.
ISABEL OLOFSSON
Isabel is originally from Sweden and graduated from Performing Arts School of Gothenburg and studied at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark.
She competed with acclaimed female barbershop choir ‘Pearls of the Sound’ at the Nordic Championships in Barbershop and has been a background vocalist for several Swedish artists, such as LaGaylia Frazer and Martin Stenmarck.
The first time Isabel set foot down under was as Lead Vocalist for P&O Australia in 2012-13. From then until now, she has been performing her own show ‘Beyond the Sea’ as well as the duo variety show ‘Magic on Broadway’ onboard P&O Australia. Other credits include We Will Rock You (Scaramouche), Beauty & the Beast (Belle) and Thriller - a Tribute to Michael Jackson.
SHARON STOKES
Sharon has been professionally singing and performing in shows around the world for over 10 years. Sharon has a BA in Drama and Musical Theatre and completed a Cert II of Musical Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Sharon has performed for Universal Studios in Japan, performed as the production vocalist for Princess Cruises & Seabourn Cruises, travelled Europe for Thomson Gold singing in a band in 5 star resorts in Rhodes, Greece and Majorca. She has also performed all over Australia in various cabarets and musicals such as South Pacific and the Magnormos production of Children Of Eden.
Since moving to Melbourne, Sharon has started her own successful company, Entertainment 88, specialising in singing lessons, corporate entertainment, videography and the highly popular, Pop Choir.
ALEXIA BRINSLEY
Alexia grew up in Queenstown, New Zealand making the move to Melbourne to study Musical Theatre full time at APO Arts Academy and Danceworld Studios. Since graduating Alexia's theatre credits include Prick the musical, Once Upon a Pantomime, High Fidelity, 16 years old - An Original Cabaret at The Loft Theatre 2015. Also the Cabaret Showcases, Out of the Blue - A new Australian Musical, Saturday Night Fever at Chapel off Chapel and played a principle role in a New Australian professional workshop of Cinderella.
Alexia is a Vic Theatre guild award nominated Choreographer for her work on 'CGTC's Spelling Bee. Alexia has featured on both New Zealand and Australian television in various commercials, guest hosting NZ's popular TV show What Now? And Australian Sketch comedy Series What's Wrong With You?. She also played the cameo role of Sandy in ABC’s AFI nominated series It's a Date, written and directed by Peter Helier.
Alexia is very excited to be entertaining audiences singing some of her favourite songs with her favourite girl group! ‘The Cover Girls!’
